Powerful Main ME
- Carbonite Black Solo’s main ME provides advanced transition and layering capability with a full suite of Background and Key transitions plus four full-function keyers and a fifth “MediaWipe” keyer for animated media transitions.
2 Built-In MiniMEs
- MiniMEs, a unique feature common to all Carbonite switchers, provide an additional set of layering and transition engines that are independent of the main ME banks. Each of Carbonite Black Solo’s two independent MiniMEs provides a background transition mixer and two keyers.
DVEs & Chroma Keys
- Floating DVE & chroma key resources are available to the main ME and 2 MiniMEs, making it easy to build engaging multi-layer scenes.
Memories & Macros
- Playout of complex scenes and effects is easily achieved with a robust memory and custom control macro system.
Internal Video Processing
- Carbonite Black Solo provides six internal frame synchronizers and format converters for untimed sources making it simple to incorporate external signals without genlock capability.
Built-In MultiViewer
- Carbonite Black Solo features a single ten-window MultiViewer with multiple layout choices, user-defined source labels, and red/green tally.
